I don’t know why you still live in yesterday’s reality in today’s moment. Who told you that so shall it ever be? Haven’t you heard that change is constant with man, but God remains the same forever?
How long, O bitter soul?
It’s been more than a year now, but you still weep — as though yesterday is today, and every day is yesterday! How long do you intend to live in the past, O you bitter soul with an unforgiving spirit? Is this how you plan to live for the rest of your life?
Can’t you see the joy that is set before you? (See Hebrews 12:2.) Of course — how could you, when your eyes are blocked with tears, and your eyelids are scaled with regrets, envy, and vengeance!
You desire ashes for beauty
Well, I have taken a good look at you: you still look like yesterday, when today is more beautiful — but you desire ashes for beauty (see Isaiah 61:3)!
The Time is come when opportunity is about to give up on you, and tomorrow wants to block today from passing by — because you choose to live in yesterday’s reality in today’s moment!
Repent from the past
I pity whoever pities you — because until you repent from the past and look into the future as you face today, you can never enter tomorrow’s Joy that awaits the best in you!
