The Acts 17:11 story
When the apostle Paul preached in Berea, the people there did something remarkable: they received the word with eagerness — and then they checked it. They searched the Scriptures daily to see whether what they had heard was true. Scripture calls them more noble for it.
That is the habit we exist to recover: receive eagerly, verify honestly, live faithfully. Not cynicism — diligence. Not rebellion against teachers — responsibility before God for what we believe and how we live.

Statement of belief
Bereans Network Ministry is a non-denominational teaching and apostolic ministry — growing men into Christ in all things.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for faith and life; in one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit; in salvation through faith in Jesus Christ; and in the call of every believer to search the Scriptures and live what they verify.
The founder
Eric Light Odame is the founder of Bereans Network Ministry. He is the author of Who Do I Marry?: The Psychology of Marriage on How to Choose a Life Partner (Kingdom Love Relationship, Book 1) and a teacher with a burden for discernment — helping people think biblically about Scripture, marriage, money, media and leadership.
Transparently: Eric is also the founder of E Light Services, an ICT and business services company in Accra. Bereans Network Ministry is his personal ministry initiative — legally and brand-wise separate from the company. This site is for the ministry only.
Our mark
