Who we are
Bereans Network Ministry is a founder initiative of Eric Light Odame, based in Accra, Ghana. For data questions, email bereans@elightservices.com or reach us on WhatsApp at +233 55 062 1987.
What we collect
- The Bereans Table (WhatsApp): your name, phone number and profile photo as shown in WhatsApp, plus anything you choose to post.
- Direct messages: whatever you send us when you contact us.
- This website: we run no analytics, no advertising trackers and no accounts. Visiting these pages tells us nothing about you.
Why we collect it, and the legal basis
We use your details only to run the community you asked to join — sending teaching notes, moderating discussion and announcing gatherings. The basis under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) is your consent, given when you ask to join. You can withdraw it at any time by leaving the group or asking us to remove you.
What we never do
- Never add you to any commercial or third-party mailing list
- Never sell or share your details with anyone
- Never collect more than the ministry needs to serve you
How long we keep it
Table membership details are kept only while you are a member. Ask to be removed and we delete our copy of your details promptly. Messages you posted in the group remain visible to other members unless you delete them.
Your rights
You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us or message us on WhatsApp and we will respond. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.
WhatsApp and Meta
The Table runs on WhatsApp, whose own privacy policy also applies to your use of that app. We cannot control how Meta handles data on its platform — only how we handle it on ours.
